Mrs. MALINI SUD is the Founder and Managing Partner of the Firm and spearheads the Firm. She is a seasoned lawyer who has over three decades of experience at the Bar. Prior to founding the Firm, she was a Senior Partner at Khaitan Sud & Partners for more than fifteen years.

Through her career, she has gained experience and expertise as a litigation lawyer as well as a corporate lawyer. In the area of corporate law, she primarily deals with mergers, demergers, acquisitions and corporate debt restructuring. Spanning her long career path in the field of litigation, she has handled tax related litigations for a host of companies including tobacco companies and electronic goods manufacturers. She actively represents banks and financial institutions in debt recovery proceedings and securitisation transactions. She has also handled arbitration matters and has been involved in various family divisions and partitions for some of the leading business groups in India. She regularly appears before all courts, tribunals and commissions in Delhi including the Supreme Court of India. In her practice of corporate law and transaction advisory, she has successfully represented various business houses in matters relating to shareholders’ rights, protection of minority interests and matters relating to management of companies before the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT).

Mrs. Sud has served on the Board of Directors of several renowned companies and is currently on the Board of Directors of Sterling Tools Limited and The Hi-tech Gears Limited as an Independent Director.

Vikas Mishra

Vikas Mishra is a Partner at the Firm. He joined the Bar in the year 2008 and has around 12 years of diverse experience in the general practice of litigation.

He heads the litigation practice of the Firm and has rich, varied and extensive experience in diverse litigation matters at various Courts and Tribunals across the country such as the Supreme Court of India, Delhi High Court and High Courts of other States, National Company Law Tribunal, National Company Appellate Tribunal, National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Competition Commission of India, National Green Tribunal (NGT), Real Estate Regulatory Authority & RERA Estate Appellate Tribunal of several states, Intellectual Property Appellate Board, Copyright Board, Debt Recovery Tribunal & Debt Recovery Appellate Tribunal, Electricity Commissions (State and Central), Appellate Tribunal for Electricity, etc.,.

He handles complex civil, corporate, commercial disputes including various arbitration disputes relating to EPC Contracts, Construction contracts, road projects, collaboration agreement, loan agreements. He has successfully represented various Indian and foreign companies across business sectors in their contentious and high-stake matters.

His expertise also includes intellectual property related disputes and he has successfully represented the Firm in several high-stake IP related disputes. Besides the above, he also represents the Firm in various criminal matters arising out of the business. His forte always include drawing strategies for effective litigation management and conflict resolution. He is also actively involved in the labour and employment related disputes and advisories.

Vidhi Goel

Vidhi Goel is a Partner at the Firm. She heads the Real Estate transaction and advisory practice of the Firm. She handles thetransaction and advisories relating to real estate issues on regular basis. She also deals with matrimonial laws, property laws, general advisory and general agreements, property due diligence, etc.,

With over a decade in the profession, she has worked with various clients on wide range of real estate transactions, matrimonial and maintenance disputes, property related matters and other general disputes. She has also worked with various clients for drafting of general agreements on various issues, opinions thereof and other related agreements and disputes thereof.

She is actively involved in giving opinion on contentious matters, drafting, negotiations and transactions of high value leases, finalization of documentations including but not limited to development agreements, joint development agreements, collaboration agreements, development management agreement, service provider agreements, consultancy agreements, leave and licence, etc.,

Her forte also include drafting of wills, codicils, sale deeds, agreement to sell, memorandum of family settlements, etc., and registration thereof.

Besides above, she also specialises in undertaking due diligence of immovable properties for agricultural as well as urban land and drafting, negotiations and finalization of all the documentation in relation to the same. She further deals withlitigation arising out of the above-mentioned matters as well.

Nitin Chawla

Nitin is spearheading the Firm’s Asset Development Team. His expertise is in International asset acquisitions, asset management, operations management and project management. He has worked with various business groups to set up a diversified portfolio of assets in hospitality, real estate and venture capital.

Nitin's approach is a uniquehands on management to structuring transactions in various countries. He has worked with various governments, authorities to get a strategic footprint which enables him to syndicate assets based on the strategic vision of the client. Not only in acquisition of these tangible of intangible assets, but structuring of companies in various jurisdictions, working with local partners for compliance management along with a delivering a 360 style management approach to his clients.

The Project specific consulting focuses on the following services:

Identification of opportunities for acquisition and strategic tie ups based on strategic vision of client
Transaction management including commercial negotiations, local compliances for time bound transaction advisory
Liaising with international authorities and governments to help with compliance fulfilment, license applications and dispute resolution
Transaction advisory and financial analysis for proposed development, joint venture plans
Operations management / Facilities management for assets including setting up international entities, Human Resources, Admin, financial management, marketing and branding.
Nitin also has an extensive background in Real Estate transaction management and corporate advisory in India.

Shubhankar Sengupta

After obtaining degree in Bachelors of Law from the Bangalore University and working for 7 years with a Designated Senior Advocate of the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi, Shubhankar joined the ranks of the firm in September, 2018 as a Principal Associate.

Priya Deep, holds an Honours Degree in Commerce and Law Degree from the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. She has experience of more than a decade in handling civil litigation and dispute resolution before the court of first instance as well as the appellate courts, in particular being the Supreme Court of India, High Court of Delhi, District Courts, National Company Law Tribunal, Real Estate Regulatory Authority, National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission and various Tribunals and Commissions in Delhi / NCR and Chandigarh in cases pertaining to commercial disputes, civil disputes, real estate disputes, consumer disputes, family disputes and arbitrations.

Shaleen Srivastava
